Welcome to The Chinese Art and Culture Association of Hong Kong (CACAHK)
Founded in 2008 and formally registered as a non-profit charitable organisation, we are rooted in Hong Kong and dedicated to preserving, researching, promoting, and educating the public about the splendour of Chinese culture and arts. Since our inception, we have held fast to our cultural mission, building bridges between tradition and modernity, and between art and the public in this international metropolis, revitalising millennia-old cultural heritage within our communities.
We firmly believe that culture and the arts are the soul of society. Therefore, we curate a diverse range of activities, including in-depth workshops, public lectures, large-scale exhibitions, and community outreach programmes. These showcase the nuanced beauty of Chinese calligraphy, the profound artistic conception of Chinese painting, and the captivating stagecraft of Chinese opera. We not only present the beauty of the arts but also emphasise the historical narratives, philosophical ideas, and humanistic spirit behind them.
Whether you are an art enthusiast, a family seeking cultural experiences, a school dedicated to education, or a corporation wishing to engage in philanthropy, there is a place for you here. We invite you to join us on this journey to explore, learn, and pass on our heritage, collectively enriching Hong Kong’s cultural landscape with depth and vibrancy.
